ROOTED + GROUNDED in our call to EDUCATE & SERVE

THE TREEHOUSE EPISCOPAL MONTESSORI SCHOOL

$320,000

Our largest mission of the parish is our Episcopal day school. With high demand for preschools in the community, coupled with the unique offering of an Episcopal Montessori environment on such a beautiful campus, our school has grown quickly, occupying the entirety of Christ the King’s education building.

With help of generous gifts, Christ the King has stepped out in faith to build a separate facility to house our rapidly growing parish day school. But it is a commitment that comes with a cost, a funding gap requiring the church to carry a burdensome loan. With this campaign, we can retire that debt and be freed to use those resources to fund other ministries of the church – enabling us to bring Christ’s love to our students as well as to many others.

ROOTED + GROUNDED in our children’s SPIRITUAL GROWTH

FAMILY FAITH FORMATION PROGRAM

$147,500

Our theology of baptism is that when a person is baptized – regardless of their age – they are fully initiated into the Body of Christ and become members of the parish. So it is essential that we minister to our children and youth, journeying beside them as they grow in faith and discipleship.

The Family Faith Formation program will provide our children - from nursery and elementary to middle and high school - with a transformative experience with Christ and his Church, guiding them and helping them to embrace a lifelong commitment of knowing and loving Christ.

Currently, this program serves 56 families and 100 total children. With this campaign, we’ll have the space, resources, and leadership to ensure the spiritual growth of our children and youth – and, as we serve these families, we’ll ensure the future growth of our church as well.

ROOTED + GROUNDED in faithful stewardship INSIDE & OUT

REFURBISH EDUCATION BUILDING & NURSERY

$50,000

Currently, our Episcopal day school fills all 3,500 sq. ft. of our existing education building. When students and teachers move to their new building, however, our church will gain use of the vacated education building, providing much-needed space for other ministries.

OUTDOOR BEAUTIFICATION PROJECTS

$50,000

Christ the King sits in a peaceful outdoor sanctuary where all who enter our grounds are able to feel God’s sacred presence and holiness. With the campaign’s help, this sublime natural setting will be enhanced even further, with outdoor improvements designed to promote contemplation, reflection, and a closer connection to God.

ROOTED + GROUNDED in remembrance, generosity & song

MEMORIAL GARDEN

$15,000

As an extension of our existing columbarium, a new Memorial Garden will serve those members who prefer to have their ashes buried in a sacred outdoor space. The beautifully landscaped garden will provide a quiet space for descendants to come visit, reflect, and pay tribute. A wall plaque will list the names of those who are resting in the garden.

10% TITHE TO THE DIOCESAN “GO FORWARD” CAMPAIGN: BECKWITH CAMP AND RETREAT CENTER

$67,500

If you’re going to be rooted and grounded in love, part of that is sharing it. Just as we encourage parishioners to work towards tithing, giving 10% of their income to the church, so too, our church is called to tithe our income to those beyond our walls. Beckwith Camp and Conference Center is one of the most wide-reaching ministries of our diocese.

MULTI-GENERATIONAL MUSIC PROGRAM

$25,000

“Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord.” With this campaign, we will create opportunities for parishioners of every age to join together in song, while providing outreach to the greater community, as we invite others outside our parish to join in our music ministry. Our children’s choir will be reinstated and will regularly join our adult choir in a multi-generational chorus. Another priority will be a summer music camp for children and youth from inside and outside our parish.
